Best of Fest is our new show that showcases the best entries to different film festivals. This time we are at DOCNYC 2018, a documentary film festival. Alan was our on site corespondent for New York's Largest Film Festival stopping by the Chelsea Cineapolis, The IFC Center, and The SVA Theater.
He also reviewed the documentary The Ghost of Peter Sellers. This is a doc about a lost film called The Ghost in the Noonday Sun starring Peter Sellers and directed by Peter Medak. Sellers being a notoriously difficult actor did everything he could to get off the production and the movie was plagued with problems, stoned actors, accidents, and was eventually shelved by the studio. Medak goes on a person journey reconnecting with members of the crew and coming to terms with his relationship with Sellers. Its a cool doc hope you enjoy the full review.
